PISA

So yesterday we went to the leaning tower of Pisa. It was pretty incredible!! We almost missed our train going there because we are idiots and couldn't figure out the arrival/departure board, but luckily we made it! Alexsa and I packed a lunch so we could have a picnic there :) 

Originally I thought there would be absolutely nothing in Pisa except for the tower, but surprisingly the town itself is pretty cool! They have neat shops every where and we of course got some gelato. We then just hung out on the lawn in front of the tower for a few hours. Our friends Rory and Jonah who we met up with in Rome came as well. We took some pretty goofy pictures too! 

We then headed back to Florence, and we almost missed the train coming back so we ran onto it super fast, and realized we didnt even buy tickets we were in such a hurry, but luckily no one checked. So I mean I guess I'm an international fugitive. No biggie. We then went to this incredible restaurant that is famous for steaks. Who knew an Italian restaurant would have the most incredible 3 POUND steak. It was amazing!!! So I forget the name of the restaurant because it was super strange, but I'm sure if you come to Florence you could just ask someone for the steak place hahaha

Anyway that's about all we did.. Alexsa leaves tonight so we are just gunna take it easy and explore around our apartment today.
