My last full weekend in BCN

Wowww I cannot believe this is my last weekend in Barcelona really! Well except for when my parents are here. Anyway it was a great weekend here! 

Friday we had our last excursion with ISA and we went to Sitges which is about 40 minutes outside Barcelona. We first stopped at the Frexeinet cava cellar. Cava is the Catalunya equivalent to Champagne. We toured the old cellar and the modern cellar and factory. We also got to sample the brut Cordon Negro which was yummy! I really enjoy learning about the process and the production, probably because I've always wanted to have a winery and an alcohol empire. I even answered the tour guides questions which made me the "teachers pet" amongst my friends. Finally we got to go to the "gift shop" where You can buy the bottles! After the cellar we then went to downtown Sitges, my friends and I spent it at the beach relaxing. And that's about all for Friday!

Saturday my roommate had friends in town so we had lunch with them and showed them around, and also went to the beach. The weather in barcelona right now couldn't be more perfect! Also last night my friend Gabby had a 90's themed birthday party which was a blast!

Then today. I had about 50 things planned for today and most fell through. Me and some friends signed up for a cooking class, which ended up getting g cancelled yesterday :( also I was going to run a 5k before the cooking class, then we found out it was 10k and I didn't think I would have enough time so I nixed the run. And of course then the class got cancelled so I could've done the run anyway... But oh well instead I went to church and to the Holi Festival with my friends Laura and Autumn. This festival is basically a color run without running, and also has the Ora of a Dave Matthews band Concert if you know what I mean. But it was awesome!! I was covered with color from head to toe and every nook and cranny was colorful. I got some good looks from people on the metro, so that was also great. Here are some photos!
