First full week
Hello everyone!
This week has been pretty eventful! I had my first full week of classes. I'm taking Cross Cultural Management, International Business, Spanish Language, and Civilacion y Cultura de Espanola. Tuesday Thursday I have class from 9-3:30 all in Spanish.. My brain is usually mush when I get done. My business classes are pretty interesting too, I have some good professors! My classes are also on two different campuses, one campus is called Eixample and its basically just a building in the middle of the city. The other campus is called Sant Pau-which is BEAUTIFUL and i posted pics on Facebook of it. Also Sant Pau is about a 10 min walk to my house so thats nice! My friends and I have been looking into a few trips as well! Nothing booked but we're planning on doing a lot!
We also took a bus tour of the city which was really cool. We only saw a little portion of the city in 2 hours, its sooo big. I cannot wait to explore everything! Tonight me and Stephanie are going out for Paella because our host mom is going to be with her son- who we met the other night! He's really cool and currently lives in Sweden. Also the other night we went to a pub called George Payne's and we sang karaoke. Obviously we chose Baby Got Back. Everyone told us we really got the crowd going- no surprise honestly. So that was fun, I don't know how I've never done karaoke before but I definitely enjoyed it!
Stephanie and I are still getting along really well. We are seriously the perfect roommates for each other. I've also become really good friends with some other people! One of my friends is actually from St. Charles too!!
well thats about all for now...This coming weekend we are going to Valencia with my program!
