I cannot believe that it is already March! only 6 weeks until my parents come and 2 months until I am home! I just do not know what to think about this. It's kind of crazy.
Anyway this past week I went to Sitges for Carnaval. I had a BLAST. I did see some things I would like to erase from my mind, and I did see some pretty extravagant but cool things as well. The parade was incredible. It lasted about 4 hours it seemed like. There were all sorts of themes, and outrageous costumes that were so detailed it blew my mind. There was even a float dedicated to NASA and they had American flags hanging all over it. It was probably my favorite. There were also a lot of stupid people making stupid decisions, but luckily that was not me or my friends. We simply stayed to ourselves and observed! It wasn't quite what I was expecting, I thought it would be impossible to move around and there would be tons and tons of people, but it really wasn't too crowded. This was nice because you actually got to see the parade. It was a long night, but it was definitely one to remember!
I really didn't do a whole lot this weekend. It was super nice so I went to the beach Saturday. I've been deep into a good book lately, so I've been lame and read a lot. I also went out with my friend Tanja a few times! She's from Germany and her last name is Kuhn too, but she actually has the umlaut over the u, and I´m convinced we are relatives. She is really fun and has been teaching me some German too! I´m becoming so worldly huh?
Also the big news of my week was I finally planned my Spring Break trip! My friend Alexsa from work back in Texas and I are going to Sevilla for the Semana Santa festival, and then to Rome and Florence and we are even taking a half day trip to the Leaning Tower of Pisa!! I am so stoked I just wish it was this week and I didn't have to wait!
