Hola!
So this weekend my roommate our friend AJ and I went to Ibiza which is an island off the coast of Spain, this is the first time I've been on an island too. It's super beautiful, but it's kind of dead until May when it's in season. Apparently it's like no other thing during the summer. Tons of stuff to do and tons of people everywhere! We arrived in San Antoni Thursday night and hit the local bars. It was the Pintxo festival so there were tons of people out and about. The next day we just did some exploring and went to the beach. We found a little market too so I enjoyed shopping around there too. Like I said many things are closed this time of year so we didn't do a whole lot of activities so to speak. Saturday we decided to move to the other side of the island which was way more poppin in terms of things to do. We walked around for awhile in Ibiza town and got some dinner. We rented a super cute apartment for the night with an incredible view of the ocean and port. Saturday night we went to this world famous club called Pacha. Clubs really are not my thing, but it was fun and absolutely huge. My roommate also met a guy who works on a yacht so we hung out at his yacht on Sunday. No big deal or anything....Also the funniest thing happened to me too. Stephanie and I went to grab some food and I sat down while Stephanie was ordering. Next thing I knew, about 10 fourteen year old boys were all around me talking to me. It was quite funny and they didn't speak much English, but they did know quite a few jokes so that was entertaining. They were enamored with us and they kept us laughing for a good ten minutes. If only we were that luck with men our own age.. hahaha
Overall it was kind of just a relaxing weekend away from the city. It was incredibly beautiful as well. I will definitely try to make it back someday during the summer when the whole island is crawling with people and things to do!
Hope everyone has a good week!
