Croatia Part 1
So when we planned this trip, we knew we'd have some time to go to another country. Stephanie mentioned Croatia, sent me some amazing pics, and I agreed we had to go!
So on Sep 1, we boarded a plane to Dubrovnik. Aka King's Landing for any GoT fans. This city is absolutely amazing. The Old Town, where we stayed, is built into ancient city walls they built for protection forever ago. It's awesome. The city is so quaint and beautiful, and the people are so friendly, and the food is delicious. What more can you ask for?
Excursions. That's what. One of my clients has a buggy safari, so we decided to try it. Basically, you take a cable car up a mountain, and then ride go carts for an hour and a half.
View from the cable cars.
It was so much fun! And I Go Pro'd a lot of it, so once I upload and edit my videos I'll post them as well.
We also had some great meals, and here I am enjoying some Croatian Champagne. The waiter reallllly had to convince me to try it 😉
The next day, we woke up and went Kayaking. In very choppy water. So choppy in fact, they cancelled all the tours after ours. So I was a little sore... and we definitely flipped over. Twice. But it was so fun, the ocean is so clear and blue, and we even hung out in a cave!
I also got to sit on the Iron Throne, which was definitely a top moment of my trip.
Overall, we did a bunch of super cool stuff, saw some super cool sites, and met super cool people. This place is definitely high on the list of places everyone needs to visit.
