My first time to the PNW

A little before I moved to Vegas, one of my very good friends in Texas moved back to her home in Olympia, Washington. She had a baby shortly after, and I'd been dying to go visit her since. A couple of my gal pals and I decided we needed a girls trip, so we booked flights to Seattle and were on our way!

I arrived in Seattle Thursday night around 7 PM. Katie and Taylor weren't landing until 11ish, so I had a few hours to explore Solo. We stayed only a few blocks from Pikes Place, so I wandered my way down there. I had an amazing meal at Lecosho - had their salmon which I usually don't order seafood at restaurants, but I mean, it's Seattle.

I also decided what the heck, and rode the ferris wheel that has amazing views of Seattle. I caught a glimpse of the Space Needle, and the sun was setting over the water so it was a pretty incredible view.

Finally, Katie and Taylor arrived, and we basically went to bed. The next morning we did a ton of exploring! We walked all around the market, down the piers, to the gum wall. All the true tourist things.

Later that day, we caught the train to Olympia to see Sarah! Over the next couple of days we went kayaking on the sound, hiking, went to the farmers market, had amazing food, talked, gossiped, caught up, played tons of games, and reminisced on the good times we all had in Texas. And of course, lots of Hudson snuggles!

It was a short trip, but full of love! I can't wait to go back someday. It's truly the most beautiful place I've been in the States and now that I have good friends there, I have the best excuse to go back.
